Jingjing Hu is a cellist who is passionate about music in a wide variety of forms. She enjoys a versatile career as an orchestral player, soloist and cello teacher around the world.

Ms. Hu is a sectional cellist in Civic Orchestra of Chicago since 2018. She has been playing with Maestros such as Riccardo Muti, Yo-yo Ma and Ken-David Masur there. Recently she won a position in Illinois Symphony Orchestra. In 2018, she was accepted as a fellow in Miami Music Festival and served as assistant principal in the orchestra.

Ms. Hu also has her enthusiasm in teaching. she is a string instructor at Providence St, Mel High School. She teaches individually lesson there as well as coach the string ensemble. Also, Ms. Hu is the cello instructor at Sistema Ravinia music program which is the association of Ravinia Festival. She also has her own studio where she gives her private lesson to students.
