Irina Fatykhova Magill was born in Russia. She started her music lessons when she was 7. At the age of 11 she continued her education in Kazan State Conservatory Special Music High school. During that period Irina took part in different concerts and competitions where she has been awarded by special prizes.
She graduated from Moscow State Conservatory in 2005 (diploma with distinction) where she studied under Professor Igor Frolov.
Irina takes part in many concerts, recitals and master-classes. She has a large experience as an orchestra player. Irina participates in lots of music tours within Russia, Europe and USA. Last season in Moscow she was a concertmaster of Gnesin Chamber Orchestra.
From 2007-2010, Irina was teaching assistant at University of Tennessee where she was receiving Master of Music degree under Professor Mark Zelmanovich. During those years Irina was a concertmaster of UT symphony orchestra.
In 2010-2011 Irina was pursuing Artist Certificate at DePaul University in Chicago under Professor Ilya Kaler.
Irina is an active member of several symphony and chamber orchestras within Illinois and Indiana areas. Irina has great experience in performing as well as in teaching. Since 2010 Irina leads a large private studio where she teaches violin and piano.
